Chat with Opto-22 about their groov software
Here, application engineer Selam Shimelash explains Opto-22 programmable automation controllers (PACs) and other offerings that allow for smart networking and IoT connectivity. I visited the booth with my colleague Mike Santora (editor of sister site bearingtips.com) to get a better feel of how one uses Opto-22 groov software … an option to give engineers browser and mobile-device-based access to facility automation. There’s no extra programming language to use groov. According to Selam, the next version is due to be released within the next few months.
