Industrial Pack — North America’s dedicated event for the industrial, transit and protective packaging industry — will be launched at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta Georgia on April 4-5, 2018.
The event was created in response to industrial packaging engineers, technicians and purchasers wanting an exhibition dedicated purely to industrial, transit and protective packaging without processing or machinery. The US industrial packaging market is expected to be worth over $78.3 billion in the next three years. But as with any successful US industry there are always competitive threats and Industrial Pack will be helping the industry address those challenges head-on.
The two day event has the support of two industry trade bodies; Industrial Packaging Alliance of North America (IPANA) and the Reusable Industrial Packaging Association (RIPA) as well as a range of exhibitors including Greif, ILC Dover, Muller Group, Nefab and Rieke Packaging.
Industrial Pack will connect buyers with suppliers. Together they can address productivity, cost, legislation and compliance, sustainability and innovation. Running in parallel to the exhibition will be the IP Conference 4.0 which will cover the biggest industry challenges.
“If America is to be competitive in the Intl. world of packaging we need to be two steps ahead of the competition. Industrial Pack provides a great forum for US industrial packaging buyers and specifiers to exchange ideas and do business. The response already has been extremely encouraging and we are expecting over 2,000 buyers to attend,” said event manager Tim Rusbridge.
Another key attraction is the “Pack Test Live” demonstration area where the effectiveness of packaging design and product protection will be put to the test. Companies will be able to submit industrial, transit & protective packaging to be tested to challenge the strength and robustness of the product through simulation and non-simulation performance tests. In recognition of the leading role American suppliers play in the industrial packaging industry, the event will also include the inaugural Industrial Packaging Awards. Industrial Pack will run from April 4-5, 2018, at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Atlanta, Georgia. For more information, visit www.industrialpackexpo.com.
