The CLS sealing system patented design includes a cleverly concealed linear seal under the 3-sided stainless steel top cover. This device keeps out solid debris, airborne particles and fluids. By protecting the moving parts with NUTEC Components’ exclusive seal, the motion platform maintains consistent performance over its entire life-expectancy. As a result, the end-user will increase uptime and eliminate housekeeping requirements.

The CLS system is ideal for the whole range of positioning applications from super precision performance to industrial environment type applications. Typically, it provides optimal performance for Laser Machines as well as for equipment used for Semi-Conductor Testing, Optical Scanning, Industrial Automation, and OEM and end-users where bellows, tape seals or open stages are not desirable. The additional features of NUTEC Components’ CLS sealing system offer even greater possibilities for a broad spectrum of applications:

–travel ranges from 100-1200mm
–various accuracy grades
–linear encoders to 50 nanometer resolution
–speeds up to 2m/sec
–all ground-up metric design
–high-force linear brushless servo motor drives
–ballscrew drives with in-line or fold-back brushless servo motors
–customization to meet application requirements
–load capacities up to 250kg /500lbs
–X-Y table assembly from 3 to 60 arc sec orthogonality

The CLS protection is a patented system and available only on NUTEC Components’ positioning equipment, including the linear motor and ballscrew stages from the Lineax-series, the flexdrive-series and the tracline-series. It covers the entire range from lower to highest positioning performance level and single axis, X-Y tables and multi-axis architectures.

With an international reputation as the pre-eminent manufacturer of precision positioning and motion equipment, NUTEC Components upholds a steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest engineering requisites for all products from standard modules to custom-made systems. The CLS system is the latest example of NUTEC Components dedication to finding creative, effective, efficient positioning solutions for the global marketplace.

New in this catalog are all of the available Parker Bayside linear slides and stages including:

– SE Series – The “E”xtended travel manual crossed roller slides
– SP Series – The SE series with stop “P”lates on the ends of travels of the slides, ideal for general factory automation.
– SC Series – A “C”rank driven manual crossed roller stages
– SK Series – A “K”nob driven manual crossed roller stages
– SW Series – A double V design with no need for a base plate and a lower overall height crossed roller manual slides

The catalog also features a new quick-selection chart for ease of product selection. Open the guide to page 9 and quickly select the right product based upon the application needs of travel, payload and any footprint constraints (overall width).

Similar to the Electromechanical catalog 8092 from Parker Daedal this is printed on recycled paper. Parker continues the green initiative, seeking to reduce waste and ensure a sustainable future for our planet. Other projects in this effort include special Parker products for applications in the energy industries, such as solar scribing, hybrid vehicles and the Vectrix electric scooter.

This catalog is complementary to the vast selection of motion control products that are presently being offered by the Parker Automation Group. From this core family of products, Parker’s Electromechanical Automation Division can design a wide variety of plug-and-play bundled solutions to meet customer needs.

Microstage 28™ Positioning Stage from USAutomation

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — USAutomation has announced the design and introduction of the Microstage 28 ™ positioning stage serving a wide variety of markets and applications around the world. The Microstage utilizes a preloaded linear rail, a precision anti-backlash rolled leadscrew, a high performance coupling and motor mounting provisions.

microstage
The linear rail system supports radial and moment loads that are remarkable for the size of the stages. The leadscrew has no axial play and can accurately position within .0006” per inch of travel. The standard Microstage includes a coupling and a step motor so that it can be operational right out of the box.

Standard travel lengths are from 10mm to 205mm with 2 week leadtimes and custom configurations are also possible and encouraged for OEM customers with specific needs. The Microstage 28 is only 1.1 inches (28mm) across and easily mates with NEMA size 11 motors. The Microstage 28 is also available with USAutomation’s Accuriss 28™ integrated motor for the most complete micro positioning solution on the market today.
