“Integrity is the number one principle, as part of our core values, that guides our overall corporate mission,” said Carl Christenson, Altra’s president and CEO. “I am extremely proud of Altra’s inclusion in Forbes 100 Most Trustworthy Companies. This is a notable acknowledgment of the efforts of our directors, officers and employees as they uphold our high corporate standards for honesty, fairness and trust.”

The Forbes 100 Most Trustworthy Companies in America were selected by GMI Ratings, after review of more than 8,000 North American public companies. Those companies with the highest AGR scores for all four quarters of 2013 made the list. Companies are ranked based on various factors such as revenue and expense recognition methods, bankruptcy risk, SEC actions and high risk events.
