AMC’s M/V Series Motor Controllers for mobile electric vehicle platforms

October 11, 2012 By Motion Control Tips Editor Leave a Comment

Servo2Go has expanded its line-up of electric vehicle servo drives made by Advanced Motion Controls— the M/V™ Series Motor Controllers.

The purpose-designed M/V™ Series Motor Controllers are four-quadrant, fully functional servo drives that can operate in today’s modern mobile electric vehicular platforms. These Motor Controllers also work well for various applications in both industrial and military environments such as transport vehicles, material handling, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and mobile robots.

Aside from that, the battery supplies of the M/V™ Series Motor Controllers provide high power and have various operating modes. Its compact design and IP65 rating for either brushless motors or permanent magnet brushed motors, drives the motor controlling series ahead.

Whether for lifting, steering, propulsion/traction, or any other electrically driven actuation — like hoists, winches and compressors — the M/V™ Series Motor Controllers are the latest member in the long line-up of successful motor controlling solutions manufactured by Advanced Motion Controls.

Available models include AVB250A060, which has a 20-54 VDC input and output, while its continuous electric current stands at 150A, peaking at 250A. Model AVB125A200 has a 40-175 VDC input and output, while its continuous electric current stands at 80A, peaking at 125A.
