AMETEK Introduces ROTRON Minispiral Blower

The advanced design of the new ROTRON® Minispiral 12V HDC Extra Flow / Extra Wide Regenerative Blower combines a high-performance DC brushless motor / blower with a state-of-the-art electronics package to deliver air flows up to 12 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) and air pressures up to 26 inches of water gauge (IWG) from a four-inch diameter package size.

The ROTRON Minispiral blower is both compact and quiet. It features a high-performance design that measures a compact 4.18 inches by 1.83 inches (106.2 x 46.5 mm) and weighs in at less than two pounds (0.86 kg.). The rugged unit features a glass-filled phenolic molded blower and impeller cover and die-cast aluminum motor housing.  Its integrated control electronics provides variable air flow control, while its stainless steel, permanently lubricated bearings provide its brushless DC motor with up to 30,000 hours of bearing life.

The extra-wide and extra-air flow Minispiral blower is ideal for a wide range of system design and performance challenges, including advanced air sampling and laboratory equipment applications. Its brushless DC motor technology is virtually maintenance free, while its advanced integrated electronics package allows the blower to be customized for specific application requirements. In addition, a number of optional features are available, including application-specific voltages, variable input voltages and low-voltage versions, and built-in speed and pressure sensors.
