DTi seals and trim meet rigorous UL50E standard

February 15, 2015 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

DTi-seals-trim-ULUnderwriters Labs (UL) recently confirmed that Seal-Fast Door Seals and Trim-Fast Edge Trim meet the stringent UL50E standard for EPDM gasketing materials.

The Recognized Component UL50E designation for the seals and trim — from Device Technologies, Inc. (DTi) — is especially important to designers that need performance materials that comply with NEMA standards to protect critical equipment such as Telco switches, data center racks and chassis, and routers. The DTi seals and trim also go on truck bodies; enclosures for generators and inverters; and machines in everything from back offices to mobile military shelters.

The Seal-Fast Edge Seal D Series EPDM is a clean way to protect equipment in myriad industries from dust, temperature swings, and moisture. The Trim-Fast S Series Edge Trim for EPDM offers superior protection from wire and cable abrasion for critical equipment.DTi-seals-trim-UL-cross-section

DTi’s enclosure and edge-protection products are an affordable UL-certified upgrade for existing equipment. UL listed components save both time and money, as the pre-qualified material eliminates the need for further testing. The seals and trim also boost compliance and minimize liability exposure in case of disaster such as fire.
