Dumore’s Onboard DC Motor Controllers ideal for integration

Unlike traditional DC motor controllers offered in the market, the new Dumore Motor Series DM4400 PWM single quadrant microprocessor DC electric motor controllers from Dumore Corporation (www.dumorecorp.com) form an integral part of the gear motor or DC motor.

The new controllers are available in 12 VDC as well as in 120 VAC input voltage applications. With the unique features of the integral onboard motor controls, the controllers eliminate the challenges in the panel space requirements when mounting an independent motor control drive, and in the remote placement of a motor control as well as its associated wiring.

Onboard-DC-Motor-Controllers

The Dumore Motors Series DM4400 DC motor controllers provide users with a complete package, which include custom gear motors and DC motors that are integrated with onboard PWM microprocessor DC motor controls, in one flexible, compact design that can easily fit into various applications at an affordable price.

Fitting the custom gear motors and DC motors with the DM4400 DC motor controls makes them ideally suited for applications demanding for multiple output speeds, such as blowers, conveyers and fans, and applications that require constant speeds at different loads like pumps or fluid power.

Other benefits offered by the DM4400 DC motor controller include longer brush life, higher torque at low speed, fast acting current limit, more precise speed control, lower motor form factor and higher efficiency. These features all contribute to eliminate the need for expensive, large filter capacitors while reducing motor heating.

The integral onboard DC electric motor controller also comes with current limit, adjustable IR compensation and three speed button settings with external inhibit input and LED indicators.
