Servo2Go.com (www.servo2go.com) has introduced Advanced Motion Controls’ (www.a-m-c.com) DZRALTE Series of High Performance Digital Servo Drives, which are compact digital servo drives specifically designed to control brushed and brushless servomotors, making them suitable for use by embedded applications.
Compared to traditional PWM drives, the fully digital servo drives use Space Vector Modulation and operate in velocity, torque or position mode, resulting to higher bus voltage utilization and reducing heat dissipation. The command source of the DZRALTE Series can be supplied externally or generated internally. To improve interface with external devices and controllers, the drives feature programmable and dedicated analog and digital inputs and outputs, in addition to motor control.
With the motor and drive parameters stored in non-volatile memory, the DZRALTE Series are also fitted with RS-485 interface for drive networking and RS-232 interface for drive setup and configuration. The all-new servo drives use AMC’s user friendly and powerful free DriveWare software to accomplish drive commissioning.
In addition, the seamless combination of drives’ DigiFlex Performance with DriveWare software delivers a new standard in versatility.
The DZRALTE servo drives offers full tuning control of the three servo loops, namely torque, velocity and position. For drive and system diagnostics, AMC has equipped the status window with more than 50 simultaneous channels while the drives’ I/O configuration can be configured to active-high and active-low as well as to latch/non-latch.
Other capabilities provided by the DZRALTE servo drives include universal servo motor compatibility through automatic commutation adjustment, real-time oscilloscope with up to eight channels, and dual loop feedback that optimizes both accuracy and stability.
