Emerson Process (www.emersonprocess.com) has launched its Fisher FIELDVUE digital valve controllers, which can now be incorporated into any process control system supporting FDT/DTM technology, features HART and FOUNDATION fieldbus communications. The Valvelink DTM software enables users to perform startup, diagnostic and commissioning activities by communicating with any FIELDVUE digital valve controller.
Certified by the FDT Group, Emerson’s Valvelink software has complied with FDT standards and has been certified for use with other FDT compliant host system producers such as Invensys, Honeywell and Yokogawa.
The digital valve controllers have been utilizing the AMS ValveLink SNAP-ON to integrate into FOUNDATION and HART fieldbus host systems, such as Ovation digital automation and Emerson’s DeltaV systems. The addition of DTM technology has allowed the company to continue its strong integration tradition for FIELDFVUE instrument clients.
Known for its reliability and performance, FIELDVUE’s digital valve controllers diagnose the assembly, maintain valve performance and allow predictive maintenance. Logging in millions of operating hours, Emerson’s FIELDVUE digital valve controllers have earned the respect of companies that uses their technology to upgrade plant availability. Specifically designed for extreme conditions, the controllers have survived harsh environments in chemical, pulp and paper, refining, oil and gas, nuclear and power industries.
The company’s Process Management sales office offers additional information regarding the FIELDVUE digital valve controllers or ValveLink DTM software.
