Koford Engineering’s new line of slotless brushless gearmotors feature 2-pole design, are 42 mm in diameter, and are available in 24-V and 48-V versions. These gearmotors provide over 800 W of output in a small lightweight package just 1.63 in. in diameter and weighing 21 oz. The planetary gearbox features a 10.875 ratio and features all surface hardened gears, needle bearings in the planetary gears, and ball bearings on the stainless output shaft. The motors are offered in hall sensor and sensorless versions, with the option of a temperature sensor as well as a variety of windings. The slotless design offers exceptional efficiency and power density. Plus, with zero cog and linear torque behavior the gearmotors are a good fit for servo applications.
