Klüber Lubrication, has introduced Klüberfood NH1 4-002 Spray, a water displacement fluid that is available in an aerosol spray for convenient application. The spray can be used as a penetrating oil to prevent seizures, for example, in the case of a thread and bolt. The oil can also protect metal machine surfaces subject to periodic wash downs. 
The lubricant was developed for use around products and packaging materials in the food production and pharmaceutical industries. Klüberfood NH1 4-002 Spray is NSF H1 registered, and is therefore acceptable as a lubricant with incidental food contact for use in and around processing areas.
In addition to food quality assurance, the use of Klüberfood NH1 4-002 Spray can also lead to an increase in reliability of production processes. The product is able to reduce staining and corrosion of metal machine surfaces through water displacement. By working to prevent seizure, the oil also contributes to a reduction in downtime during assembly and disassembly of machine components.
