Koford Engineering introduces high-speed brushless, slotless hall sensor motor

Koford Engineering LLC has introduced a new brushless, slotless hall sensor motor featuring speeds to 81,408 rpm and 153 W of power in a 22mm diameter. It features ceramic hybrid bearings with machined Torlon retainers and ultra low loss laminations. The slotless construction is free of cog. The motor has a hardened and precision ground 440C shaft and uses Teflon insulated 200C rated lead wires. The operating voltage is 24V DC. Matching drives with speed pot or 0-5v control inputs are also available.

The applications include surgical tools and small battery operated power tools. The motor can be autoclaved if enclosed in a sealed housing or if an autoclave bag is used.
