Midwest Motion Products (www.midwestmotion.com) of Watertown, Minnesota, is proud to unveil its latest DC Gear Motor, the Model No. MMP-TM55-60-12V GP52-308. It accepts any type of 12 Volt DC source, such as battery power. The robust Gear Motor measures only 2.14 inches in diameter, by 7.75 inches long, and features a keyed output shaft of 12 millimeters by 25 millimeters long.

Easy mounting can be achieved with four ‘face mount’ M5 threaded holes, which is equally spaced on a 40-millimeter diameter B.C. The reversible gearmotor’s output is rated for 310 Lb In continues torque at 2.5 rpm, and 443 Lb. In. Peak. In spite its compact size and weight of approximately four pounds, it is an efficient design, requiring only 0.2 Amps at 12 V DC to generate a Full Load Torque. This translates into a long life battery charge, which is very low in noise operation and lower in costs for related drive electronics. The motor windings for 90, 60, 48, 36, 28 and 24 Volts are also available. The unique design is rated at an IP 54 protection level for harsh environment operations. Variable speed can be achieved with Midwest’s fully compatible speed controls, Model MMP 20A-12V-RSP, or MMP 25A-12V.
