New DieQua PGW Series hollow-bore-output planetary reducers

October 7, 2019 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

Now DieQua Corp. (solution-based supplier of gear drives) sells PGW Series reducers in variations that are particularly suitable for belt and leadscrew-driven axes. The manufacturer works with engineers to find optimal products from a wide range of available gearbox technologies for design requirements.

DieQua’s PGW planetary reducers are:

  • Low-backlash designs — with backlash down to ≤ 6 arc-min.
  • High efficiency — even to 95% or better
  • Quiet — with operating noise less than or equal to 63 dB(A)

DieQua’s new PGW planetary reducers are available in inline housing configurations, and come in three sizes — 60, 90 and 115. A hollow-bore connection excels in belt and screw-driven linear actuators, In addition, PGW planetary reducers offer:

  • Ratios from 3:1 to 1,000:1
  • Torque capacity to 200 Nm
  • Caged planet gear carrier
  • Environmental protection of IP65

PGW reducers include a universal output adapter to fit most linear actuators; flexible bushing system to permit a wide range of shaft diameters; an oversized input support bearing for high speed; precision cut planet gears; Viton TC Oil Seals; full needle roller bearings support the planet gears; a balanced input bushing and clamp collar to interface most servo and step motors; and an output supported by dual bearings.

DieQua Corp. is a mechanical-solution provider that designs, creates, sells, and services a broad range of mechanics for automation. Established in 1980 with a single product line, the supplier has grown to offer an array of gearboxes, speed reducers, and connecting components. For more information, visit www.diequa.com.
