Nidec expands variable speed capabilities with U.S. MOTORS

June 14, 2016 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

As it continues to expand its variable speed capabilities in order to provide true system solutions, Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC) is launching U.S. MOTORS brand Hybrid Drives for commercial and industrialapplications.

unnamed-1The 1-10 HP drives are part of NMC’s ACCU-Series line of variable speed and inverter duty products that form a system solution for maximum compatibility, reliability, and performance.

These off-the-shelf digital AC drives typically require no programming or commissioning, are easy to install, and can usually be up and running in 10 minutes. They come with an analog interface and are simple to operate.

The drives are available as IP20, NEMA 1/IP20 & 50, and NEMA 4X/IP65. All are in stock, from basic enclosures to those used for indoor and outdoor watertight applications.

If an off-the-shelf drive does not meet OEM needs, NMC can customize a drive for the specific application. NMC can pre-calibrate or program a stock control (adding a custom label, custom branding, and custom software or PLC functions) or design an entirely new control.

A U.S. MOTORS brand drive warranty will match the standard warranty of the new, unused U.S. MOTORS brand inverter duty motor it controls. The warranty is good for up to 36 months from date of installation at no additional charge. Only product registration is required.
