PTDA-Business-Index-2016-conditions-predictions-PT-MCThe Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is now taking registrations for the PTDA 2018 Leadership Development Conference to be held on March 22-23, 2018, at the Hotel Contessa, San Antonio, Tex.

PTDA members continuously seek ways to educate their future management teams so they can step into a supervisory role ready to excel. The PTDA 2018 Leadership Development Conference fulfills that need. Designed for emerging power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry leaders who want to enhance their management skills and more experienced leaders looking to elevate his/her skill set, participants will network in small group settings and learn best practices that support business results. This year’s conference will master transformational leadership in a memorable way featuring:

  • A networking reception on March 22 along with industry leaders which provides an excellent opportunity for networking and shared experiences to build relationships
  • The day-long Leadership Development Conference on March 23 for emerging industry leaders with a customized program designed to teach how to create momentum and mindset shifts that effectively transform leadership styles and organizations as a whole

The Chair for the PTDA 2018 Leadership Development Conference task force, Chris Gumas, director of marketing, Ruland Manufacturing Co., Inc., said, “This conference provides emerging leaders in the PT/MC industry with the skills and tools they need to be better goal setters, planners, and listeners. These skills are critical for any leader looking to make the leap from good to great. Matt Mayberry’s Transformational Leadership: Becoming a World Class Leader program focuses on individual improvement as well as pushing the group to set and achieve a common goal. It is an immersive conference with an energetic mix of breakout sessions, intensive one-on-one discussions, and actionable takeaways.”

Registration is open to all employees of any PTDA member company. Additional information about the PTDA 2018 Leadership Development Conference is available on PTDA’s website at ptda.org/LDC.
