Modularity has even hit motor-gearhead design, thanks to Wittenstein

Finally, I had an excellent visit at Wittenstein — meeting with Tim Brennan, Will Vinson, and others about new gear and motor products. Tim detailed the innovative feature of the PREMO actuator, a new Wittenstein offering that lets users tailor motors and gearheads to application-specific performance demands. The modular offering is a relatively new concept to motor-gearhead setups.
