Kollmorgen introduces the Goldline® motor technology, an addition to its W Series of hygienic servo motors especially designed for applications in wet areas as well as in high-pressure washdown environments.

The Goldline® motor technology is made of stainless steel housing making it suitable for applications which require frequent high-pressure cleaning. The motor’s connectors and shafts which are also made from stainless steel along with its food-grade bearing grease make it ideal for tough applications in the manufacturing, food and beverage industry.

With its round housing, the stainless steel Goldline® motor’s body resists the accumulation of dirt. The product comes with a sealing technology that provides IP69K ingress protection (IP) for wet environment applications. It has an optional holding brake as well as multiple feedback types.

The product can seamlessly mount with Micron® AquaTrue™ washdown planetary gearbox. Goldline® motor can deliver a continuous stall torque from one Nm to 79Nm. This W series servo motor is available in frame sizes W-10x, W-20X, W-40x, W-60x and W-80x which all have the same stack lengths, windings and maximum BUS (VDC) features but varies in the maximum rated power depending on the frame size.

The design and performance of this Goldline® motor technology is in line with the highest standards needed in hygienic applications.
