During the two-day event, master slave combinations were tested according to pre-defined test lists. Interoperability tests with extensive multi-device test set-ups were also performed.

The PlugFest was attended by 10 companies with 10 master and more than 50 slave devices as well as various test and configuration tools. Among the tested products and devices were CNC, PLC, motion and robot controls, servo drives, stepper motors, compact and modular I/Os, gateways and more.

“We are very pleased about the success of the PlugFest“, said Peter Lutz, Managing Director of Sercos International. “On the first day alone, 3 Sercos III masters already put an extensive multi-vendor set-up into operation.”

The 18th Sercos PlugFest will take place October 5-6, 2016 at Phoenix Contact in Bad Pyrmont , Germany.
