Prestolite motors are available as permanent magnet (PMDC) or wound field designs that range in size from 2.4 inches (62mm) to 5 inches (127mm) and up to 8 hp. Among the custom options available are various thermal protection, frame coatings, shaft lengths and terminal configurations. Continuous and intermittent duty, low-noise variants and long-life brush commutator systems also are available.
