Heason Technology’s Thomson Micron Gearhead Express for fast planetary gearhead delivery

Heason Technology Ltd (www.heason.com) has unveiled an expanded Thomson Micron Gearhead Express program – a 24/7 build-and-dispatch service for US manufacturers’ wide array of TRUE series planetary gearheads. Expanded to more than 250 size and ratio combinations, the program is available in the United Kingdom through Heason Tech, ensuring faster delivery of new replacements or applications for almost all standard in-line size and ratio across the Thomson Micron planetary gearhead range.

The Gearhead Express program is part of the online Motioneering service from Thomson-Micron, allowing operators to application-size a right planetary gearhead in a wide range of graded precision bands by entering torque, load, speed and other application requirements to a simple wizard. A list of suitable gearboxes is then presented and the service is finished with their availability under the Gearhead Express program.

The Gearhead Express program encompasses four main Micron TRUE series planetary gearhead lines: UltraTRUE™, DuraTRUE™, ValueTRUE™ and NemaTRUE™.

The UltraTRUE has improved precision to four arc-min through a helical crowned gearing. Its internal gears are directly cut into the housing to reduce slippage and increase torque capacity.

A high-precision planetary gearhead, the DuraTRUE features RediMount system, allowing fast, easy and error-free interfacing to almost any motor.

The Thomson Micron ValueTRUE is a cost version that features a helical crowned gearing. It is available both in right angle and in-line configurations for torques to 2970Nm and ratios up to 100:1.

NemaTRUE planetary gearheads, which are supplied in a combination of standard and metric NEMA sizes, are a low cost series suited in a wide range of applications.
