5. Rocketing roller coaster 

While not, strictly speaking, a servo motor, this linear induction motor (LIM) is still pretty cool. It accelerates the Wicked Twister train cars at Cedar Point Amusement Park from 0 to 50 mph in an astonishing 2.5 sec! When fully loaded, that’s 32 passengers. Maybe not nimble, but powerful as hell!
