“HOW2” Video Highlights Installing a Taconite Seal

February 24, 2014 By Jennifer Calhoon Leave a Comment

Motion Industries, a distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, has released a new video on their “MiHow2” series of product/application solutions. The instructive video series’ goal is to share practical industrial applications that viewers can adapt in their own facilities.

Leading bearing manufacturer and key Motion Industries partner Schaeffler, who manufactures the FAG, INA, and Barden products, assisted in the filming of “SuperTac II Taconite Seal Installation Instructions.” The video can now be viewed online at www.mihow2.com.

“This demonstration shows how a few simple steps can effectively guard against contaminations to which bearings and housings are constantly subjected.” said Randy Breaux, Motion Industries’ Senior VP of Marketing, Product Management, & Strategic Planning. “Otherwise one risks paying the price with premature bearing failure and, consequently, downtime.”

Each MiHow2 video was filmed in a workshop setting, and features the Motion Industries host with a guest from one of the market-leading industrial manufacturers demonstrating a product or application. The series is also available for viewing via Facebook and YouTube. Additional MiHow2 videos are scheduled to be posted in coming weeks.

With annual sales of $4.5 billion, Motion Industries is a leading industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical and industrial automation, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components, industrial products, safety products, and material handling. Motion Industries has over 560 operations including 15 distribution centers throughout North America and serves more than 150,000 customers from the food and beverage, pulp and paper, iron and steel, chemical, mining and aggregate, petrochemical, automotive, wood and lumber, and pharmaceutical industries.
