iFLEX™ Smart Actuators from LINAK

May 24, 2012 By Miles Budimir Leave a Comment

Louisville Ky. – LINAK has introduced iFLEX, which unites the company’s actuator solutions with built-in intelligence, in the TECHLINE® family, under one brand name.

The demand for more intelligent motion solutions is increasing, which means that applications are becoming more and more complex. Solutions with external BUS-communications can be costly due to an increased amount of signal cables and BUS-communication boxes as well as longer installation times. LINAK’s built-in intelligent solutions are easier to install and maintain as well as more cost-efficient. LINAK offers various intelligent solutions such as LINBUS, MODBUS and the simple H-bridge integrated within some actuators.

iFLEX features a number of benefits including increased cost-effectiveness because of easy assembly with reduced number of relays and cables, lower production costs because of easy and less costly installation, lower maintenance costs due to time saving troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, more effective production and through a configuration tool, it‘s possible to set the speed, the stroke and the current limit of the actuator, making service maintenance easier.
