KB Electronics expands their AC drive product line

May 13, 2013 By Stacy Combest Leave a Comment

GenesisKB Electronics expand their AC drive product offering with new digital drives. The KBDF Series of Adjustable Frequency Drives consist of fourteen inverter models rated for 1/8 to 5 horsepower motors. Drives are available for AC, PMSM, DC brushless, PSC, Shaded Pole, Universal and EC motors. These drives are housed in IP 20 enclosures and are available with a built-in CE approved AC Line Class “A” Industrial Standard RFI (EMI) Filter.

These are ideal for OEM applications where digital programming and displays are required. The common sense programming (CSP) organizes parameters into easy to understand intuitive groups. The proprietary current limit software provides overload protection, prevents motor burnout and eliminates nuisance tripping. It is UL approved as an electronic overload protector for motors. The KBDF drive offers energy savings, using only the power the application requires. Replacing constant speed with variable speed will significantly reduce energy costs. GFCI software allows the equipment to operate with Ground Fault Circuit Interruption circuit breakers or outlets.
