MotionTech, a European automation company, has announced its entry into the United States market. The company will offer its automation and packaging technology to customers in North America.
MotionTech has appointed Kristian Hulgard as executive sales director for the U.S. market, effective immediately. Hulgard has experience establishing and expanding commercial operations in the automation industry. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, he will lead MotionTech’s U.S. business.
The company’s initial U.S. offering will focus on end-of-line packaging, storage and conveying solutions. MotionTech plans to expand its commercial and service operations over time to support customers across their automation projects.
MotionTech reports U.S. customer demand
MotionTech’s expansion follows previous work with U.S. customers. The company reports that it has completed more than 30 installations in the United States in recent years, including projects for warehouse automation companies such as Dematic and Knapp.
