Parker’s New Guide Features Daedal Linear Slides and Micrometer Stages

July 7, 2009 By Motion Control Tips Editor Leave a Comment

Irwin, PA – Parker’s Electromechanical Automation Division announces the release of a new catalog featuring its Daedal brand of manually driven positioning slides and stages. The 144-page, full-color guide covers all of the manual ball slides and crossed roller slides, all of the micrometer (standard and digital) stages, and all of the micrometer driven rotary stages from the Parker Daedal and Parker Bayside offering.

New in this catalog are all of the available Parker Bayside linear slides and stages including:

— SE Series – The “E”xtended travel manual crossed roller slides
— SP Series – The SE series with stop “P”lates on the ends of travels of the slides, ideal for general factory automation.
— SC Series – A “C”rank driven manual crossed roller stages
— SK Series – A “K”nob driven manual crossed roller stages
— SW Series – A double V design with no need for a base plate and a lower overall height crossed roller manual slides

The catalog also features a new quick-selection chart for ease of product selection. Open the guide to page 9 and quickly select the right product based upon the application needs of travel, payload and any footprint constraints (overall width).

Similar to the Electromechanical catalog 8092 from Parker Daedal this is printed on recycled paper. Parker continues the green initiative, seeking to reduce waste and ensure a sustainable future for our planet. Other projects in this effort include special Parker products for applications in the energy industries, such as solar scribing, hybrid vehicles and the Vectrix electric scooter.

This catalog is complementary to the vast selection of motion control products that are presently being offered by the Parker Automation Group. From this core family of products, Parker’s Electromechanical Automation Division can design a wide variety of plug-and-play bundled solutions to meet customer needs.
