Techno announces new multi-axis stepper controller

Techno, Inc. Linear Motion Systems (www.techno-isel.com) is proud to announce the release of the all-new iMC-P1 multi-axis stepper controller – a single- to four-axis controller complete with power supply, drives, I/O, software and enclosure. The new stepper controller can be used in a wide range of applications including dispensing, pick-and-place, testing, assembly, routing, welding, drilling, as well as general automation applications.

“The iMC-P1 controller is a low-cost, compact controller that simplifies the task of selecting a complete stepper control system,” said Joe Griffin, sales manager of Techno Linear Motion. “The new iMC-P1 multi-axis stepper controller with Start, Reset and Stop buttons is rugged and industrial. There are eight 24V DC inputs and eight 24V DC outputs. Also, a durable desktop enclosure creates for a robust system which can operate on any industry floor without worry of damage,” added Mr. Griffin.

Through dip switches, the unit’s step size function can be changed from full to half to micro-step. Every controller has the ability to perform circular and linear interpolation. PalPC motion control software is also included as standard in every iMC-P1. Consumers can download Free LabVIEW drivers from the company’s website for use with their applications.
