US Tsubaki Demos Overload Protection for Equipment

April 22, 2014 By Jennifer Calhoon Leave a Comment

Motion Industries, a distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, has released a new video in their “MiHow2” series of product/application solutions. The instructive video series’ goal is to share practical industrial applications that viewers can adapt in their own facilities.

Key Motion Industries partner US Tsubaki, a manufacturer of power transmission and motion control products as well as roller chain, assisted in the filming of “Overload Protection for Production Machines with the Shock Relay.” The video can now be viewed online at www.mihow2.com.

“The beauty of a shock relay is that it can detect a problem before any damage is done to the equipment,” said Randy Breaux, Motion Industries’ Senior VP of Marketing, Product Management, & Strategic Planning. “Downtime is reduced or even avoided altogether, and this video does a great job of showing how it works.”

Each MiHow2 video was filmed in a workshop setting, and features the Motion Industries host with a guest from one of the market-leading industrial manufacturers demonstrating a product or application. The series is also available for viewing via Facebook and YouTube. Additional MiHow2 videos are scheduled to be posted in coming weeks.

With annual sales of $4.5 billion, Motion Industries is a leading industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical and industrial automation, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components, industrial products, safety products, and material handling. Motion Industries has over 550 operations including 15 distribution centers throughout North America and serves more than 150,000 customers from the food and beverage, pulp and paper, iron and steel, chemical, mining and aggregate, petrochemical, automotive, wood and lumber, and pharmaceutical industries.
