Application: AMTI MOBIUS treadmills blend innovation and performance

September 20, 2017 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

MOBIUS is AMTI’s new line of high-quality performance treadmills. It comes in two models — one fixed-tilt and one inclinable, capable of a 25% gradient. Both models have two independent, 8800N-capacity force platforms, and a newly-designed frame engineered to reach the highest possible natural frequency. The result: MOBIUS treadmills are capable of the most accurate gait data in the industry. More after the jump.

A sleek new exterior design features side reinforcement panels for enhanced stiffness. Suitable for biomechanical studies including running, the high frequency structure was conceptualized to provide industry leading data quality. New eye-catching blue belts have improved wear resistance. Both models come fully equipped with removable handrails and plug-and-play, USB-enabled signal conditioners that integrate with all major motion capture and EMG software.

AMTI continues to innovate to provide customers with the best force measurement systems in the industry. For more information, visit AMTI.biz.

AMTI (Advanced Mechanical Technology, Inc.) is a manufacturer of multi-axis biomedical testing machines and multi-axis force measurement instruments. Each year more than 80% of the hip and knee implants produced are manufactured by companies that rely on AMTI joint simulators for implant evaluation. Located in Watertown, Mass. for the last 40 years, AMTI is an active participant in AS working alongside implant manufacturers to improve testing standards.
