Brother Gearmotors to showcase premium product line at PACKEX Toronto

May 11, 2017 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

Brother Gearmotors, a division of Brother International Corporation that offers a wide range of ultra-reliable, sub-fractional AC gearmotors and reducers for the food & beverage, packaging and material handling industries, will display samplings from its premium gearmotors portfolio at PACKEX Toronto May 16 to 18 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Located at Booth 1182, Brother Gearmotors will show a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), a premium efficiency IE3 gearmotor and an IPM model, among other products. More after the jump.

PACKEX caters to advanced manufacturing professionals looking to upgrade their operations, source new technologies, and obtain an insider’s look at the latest industry innovations and products. Packaging-relevant products on display include equipment and components, accessories, technologies, supplies and automation concepts.

Brother’s gearmotors serve many industries that demand smaller, lighter, highly reliable and energy-efficient power transmission components.  For example, its IE3 gearmotors offer increased efficiency over standard IE1 models throughout the speed range and initiate less mechanical stress, which directly translates into long-term energy savings. The IE3 gearmotors run cooler and with less noise, as they are sealed for life and virtually maintenance free, which significantly reduces costly downtime.

A comprehensive set of Brother Gearmotors offerings can be discovered though the company’s recently launched product configurator.  Located on the homepage of its website, www.BrotherGearmotors.com, the handy tool helps manufacturers choose from a wide array of standard options and mounting configurations to ensure compatibility.

“Gearmotors from Brother are ideal for OEMs in the packaging and processing machinery industry, making PACKEX an important forum for our existing and potential customers in Canada,” said Matthew Roberson, Vice President of Brother Gearmotors.  “Offering compact, high durability, and superior sealing capabilities, our gearmotors help increase operational efficiencies and reduce downtime.”

A division of Brother International Corporation, Brother Gearmotors offers a wide range of high-quality, sub-fractional AC gearmotors and reducers in demanding industries such as food & beverage, packaging and material handling.  Brother Gearmotors is one of the world’s largest fine-pitch gear manufacturers and was designed in response to the industry’s demand for smaller, lighter more reliable and energy-efficient power transmission components.

Brother International Corporation, with its corporate headquarters located in Bridgewater, New Jersey, was established in 1954. Currently, Brother and its subsidiaries employ over 1,000 people in the Americas.
