New LA25 compact linear actuator from LINAK

March 4, 2015 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

LINAK-TECHLINE-LA25-actuator-for-industrial-usesThe LINAK TECHLINE LA25 compact linear actuator is reliable, even in extreme conditions. Thanks to an aluminum housing and other features, the actuator is rated to IP66 and IP69k. More specifically, the actuator is rated IP66 for outdoor use and withstands high-pressure washdown to IP69k.

Integrated actuator controller

Some versions include iFLEX integrated intelligent control and an integrated H bridge, so need less space and fewer cables than traditional actuators.

Technical specifications

The LA25 actuator delivers up to 2,500 N at 13 mm/sec. It has a permanent-magnet 12-V or 24-Vc motor; 8 x 18 AWG PVC cable; a spindle with an inner tube of stainless steel AISi304/SS2333; and a trapezoidal leadscrew.

The LA25 withstands temperatures from -40o° C to +85o° C, though works at its full rating from +50° C to +400° C. It has 2-mm maximum endplay.

Its noise level (with a standard motor) stays below 58.5 dB at nominal voltage and no load, according to EN ISO 3743-1.

For more information, visit LINAK’s LA25 TECHLINE actuator and iFLEX websites.
