New series of high-power gearboxes from Dunkermotoren for AGVs and other applications

With applications needing designs with higher performance to deliver more dynamic motion profiles, there are more demands than ever put on gearbox technology. Plus the demands of the drive require more power in a smaller footprint — as in autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) and other applications, for example.

Dunkermotoren meets these challenging criteria with new high-power gearboxes including the PLG 63 HP, PLG 75 HP and PLG 95 HP. More after the photo gallery of the three new versions.

These high-performance gearboxes cover nominal torque of up to 160 Nm and acceleration torque of up to 320 Nm. Dunkermotoren is particularly focused on shock loads, as they occur in case of emergency stops.

This line of PLG HP gearboxes can withstand peak loads of up to 480 Nm with no adverse effects on the gearing. Dunkermotoren’s hallmark is the compactness of the modular drive solution; motor, electronics and gearbox. The planetary gearboxes also eliminate the need for a clutch or flange to be mounted to the motor. This further shortens overall drive length.

These planetary gearboxes are available in a wide range of outputs, exceeding reduction ratios over to 700:1.
