Nidec introduces Answer Drives

August 1, 2016 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

With the introduction of new AD 1000 and AD 700E variable frequency drives, Nidec Motor Corporation is expanding its new ACCU- Series family of variable speed products that offer product compatibility for a true system solution.  unnamed

The AD1000 is a high-performance variable frequency drive that can reduce energy consumption by automatically adjusting to changing operating conditions in a wide range of water, wastewater, irrigation and other pump applications. The AD1000 drive is designed with today’s pump system requirements in mind. Developed by pump automation experts at Nidec, the versatile and reliable AD1000 is designed for optimum performance and reliability with minimal maintenance. While virtually “plug and play” for standard applications, the AD1000’s flexible, modular design can also be easily configured to meet the most challenging applications.

The AD700E is a cost-effective and easy to use general purpose drive, providing precise motor control and energy savings for variable speed applications up to 30HP. With 14 basic parameters, the AD700E low voltage drive offers quick and easy setup. The 50 total parameters offer a high degree of flexibility for a wide range of open and closed loop applications in food & beverage, packaging, conveyors, pumps, fans and many mounnamed-1re. The compact envelope of AD700E makes it the ideal choice where you have limited space available. The integrated I/O, Ethernet and fieldbus communications options allow you to easily connect with the control and monitoring system. Furthermore, the AD700-Optistick (optional) allows fast and accurate multiple drive setup by copying parameters from one drive to another at the touch of a button. The AD700E drives provide precise and reliable control for all motor types (Induction Motors, Permanent Magnet Motors, Brushless DC Motors and Synchronous Reluctance Motors).
With products in the ACCU-Series family, customers can easily match a U.S. MOTORS brand inverter duty motor with a drive or panel and enjoy the benefits of a motor match warranty on the drive. The warranty of the drive will increase to match that of the motor and is good for up to 36 months from date of installation at no additional charge. Only product registration is required.
