August Steinmeyer GmbH announces the appointment of Bruce Gretz to lead its North American sales and marketing operations. Mr. Gretz is now Executive Vice President of Steinmeyer, Inc., the company’s sole international subsidiary.

Mr. Gretz joined the company in mid-2015 as the National Key Account Manager, where he was instrumental in growing awareness of Steinmeyer’s ball screw offerings with its most prominent customers.

Previously, Mr. Gretz held sales and business development roles with several engineering-driven firms. In addition to deep experience with industrial technologies, he holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.

“Bruce has demonstrated that he has the strategic vision and sales acumen to expand Steinmeyer’s market share in this important region,” stated Jens Guehring, Global Head of Sales at August Steinmeyer GmbH. “Steinmeyer’s premium ball screws are ideal for innovative manufacturers – like those found throughout North America – that insist upon the highest levels of engineering in order to achieve maximum performance from their linear motion systems.”

Mr. Gretz can be reached by phone at (781) 273-6220 or by email at bgretz@steinmeyer.com. The company will be exhibiting at this year’s IMTS, Booth NC-467at McCormick Place in Chicago, from September 12-17. Schedule a meeting with the Steinmeyer executives and engineers to discuss your application.

Steinmeyer is the world’s longest continuously-operating manufacturer of commercial ball screws. In the realm of linear motion control, our company has become synonymous with precision, innovation, and exacting standards of quality. Steinmeyer’s extensive product line is used widely in drive systems for industrial machines as well as precision positioning in optical instruments, medical devices, and other mechatronic applications.
