Continental revives Legg brand of conveyor belting at 2016 NIBA Convention

Continental has re-introduced the Legg brand of agricultural and industrial conveyor belting at the 2016 NIBA Convention.

“We have had a long, storied history, and the NIBA Convention gives us the opportunity to re-introduce our brand and our products to the conveyor belting industry,“ said John Blankenship, president of Halsted, Kansas-based Legg Company, Inc. “Our philosophy is simple…to build the highest quality products using the best raw materials, the best manufacturing processes, the best personnel and the best distribution network.”

Using its new theme of Ready to Move, Legg will take its products and services to its customers with a different approach to distribution.

“Our goal is to provide our products to every distributor who wants to sell them,” Blankenship said.  “We believe in a multiple-distribution strategy that gives those who want to participate a certain competitive flexibility.”

In addition to its unique focus on distribution, in the next few months, Legg will introduce a new Flex-Legg program; new names and lineup in the industrial program; a newly designed industrial catalog and an updated, information-packed website.

“Our entire organization looks forward to this revitalization of our brand and accepts the challenges that go along with them,” Blankenship said.
