Lafert displays integrated industry and Automation 4.0 at Hannover Messe

April 25, 2017 By Lisa Eitel Leave a Comment

Hannover Messe 2017 is currently running through 28 April in Germany — with more than 250,000 visitors and 6,500 exhibitors from numerous industrial sectors.

“We’ll present the new generation of IE3 NEMA Premium and EISA Asynchronous Motors, intended for the North American market, with a new, exclusive design that allows for ever-increasing performance levels,” said Holger Klein, Country Sales Manager  for Lafert.

Also on show will be the innovative generation of IE4/IE5 Synchronous Permanent Magnet Motors, specifically designed for HVAC applications, available with both IPM and SMPM technology.

The Lafert range of Brushless Servomotors, which reaches torque values up to 390 Nm, for high dynamic and acceleration applications will be of particular attention.

“Following a successful transition period during 2016 to NEMA and Premium EISA IE3 motors for the U.S. market and Premium IE3 motors for the European market in 2017, we’re focusing on another of Lafert’s core competences — customization. Our motors have unique characteristics because the characteristics of our customers are also unique. The customization of mechanical and electrical design will allow us the opportunity to be considered an ideal partners,” added Klein.

According to Klein, the key words for this year’s Hannover Messe will be Integrated Industry and Automation 4.0 … so energy efficiency and automation will again be among the hot topics.

“We will therefore focus on showcasing the HPS/HPF range with the highest level of energy efficiency IE4/IE5, now available up to frame size 160 with speed range 500 to 1,800 rpm and torque values up to 210 Nm, and the Brushless Servomotors range, which (with torque values up to 390 Nm) meets the requirements of a large variety of applications.” One sector under the spotlight is definitely renewable energy and equipment related to it. In this context, our motors will certainly be placed among the most innovative products.
